Veet Spawax Kit Review

Summer is here for us Australians which means it's time to get our legs out and hit the beach. There is nothing worse than that horrible itchy feeling of the salt water irritaing freshly shaven skin (if you haven't expenienced that before I can tell you it's horrible). I love at home treatments because lets be honest, not everyone has the time or budget to be going to the salon for every treatment needed. I have used wax strips before but found I had to go over the same spot multiple times which left my skin red and irritated. When I saw Veet had a stripless at home waxing kit I was keen to give it a try.

The kit comes with 6 wax discs and a heating pot.

It is electronic so it plugs into the power point.

The discs smell floral, just like a professional salon wax.

To heat up the wax, simply put the discs into to pot and turn the power on.

The pot glows when it is on.

For faster heating time use the lid.

The instrustions say it takes 20-30mins to heat the wax but I found it was ready after 10mins.

Stir the wax so there are no large lumps.

Once it is runny it is ready to be used.

I spread a thick layer on my leg. The wax was never too hot so I was confident I would not burn myself which is something I have done with microwave wax pots.

The thicker the strip the eaiser it was to rip off. If the wax is too think it sticks to the skin and is a pain to get off.

In 1 fast monement the wax came straight off and to my surprise didn't even hurt!

The kit was really easy to use and wasn't too messy. I did drop some on the floor but it came off as soon as it dried. I was hair free in no time and I didn't have to re-wax sections.

The Veet Spa Wax is excellent. I will be using it all year round to keep my legs smooth.
